2degrees has appointed DDB as its brand agency, filling the void left by Special Group which the telco abruptly abandoned back in July. There was no pitch.
However, chief marketing officer Roy Ong said 2degrees would continue its relationship with digital agency Young & Shand.
DDB ceo Justin Mowday told M+AD: “Almost everyone in New Zealand, especially the advertising and marketing community, thinks incredibly fondly of the 2degrees brand, so this is an amazing opportunity to help return it to being one of the most loved Kiwi brands again.”
