Talk about conversion rates – around 90% of the 900 record-breaking crowd who attended last week’s CAANZ Beacon Awards took the Mini trip to K Rd for the Friends In High Places official After Party.
“The After Party was epic,” says FIHP creator Phil Clemas (who fills in his spare time as APN Outdoor general manager).
“Over 800 revellers arrived from around 10.30pm, with many taking advantage of the free Mini Cooper rides to arrive at Studio Venue in style. Lighting pyrotechnics lifted the venue to another level.”
FIHP provided two distinct areas – the main auditorium was made available to the more energetic with great music played by local DJ supremo DylanC. Upstairs, the mood was a little more laidback with Gene Rivers providing the cool vibes.
“Much fun and frivolity was had by all – but Friday was a very long day for most in the industry,” a partied-out Clemas said.
“This was the fourth after-party event hosted by Friends In High Places but we would not be able to pull it off without our good mates, APN Outdoor, Image Centre Group, Mini, Rascals and OSL.”
