Always courteous, accessible and obliging, we at M+AD will miss Dave King. The veteran adman has finally resigned his ECD role at Whybin\TBWA Auckland to return to his homeland Australia as ECD of Innocean Sydney.
Tension within his Whybin role surfaced back in May, when ceo Todd McLeay attempted to respond to rumours that King was about to exit. “Dave still works for us,” he told M+AD firmly, choosing not to address a suggestion that King was already on gardening leave, and looked likely to leave anyway.
