M+AD has made peace with a reader who posted negative comments in response to Tuesday’s story about the pr shop’s new-look website.
Nettled ourselves, we fired back: “You’re right … it was a regurgitated press release. But plenty of interesting technical and other info in there – plus the writing was quite cute. The pr shop went to quite a lot of trouble to prepare a user-friendly release. Well worth inclusion in our newsletter.
“Your comments a bit unfair, we thought.”
WebGuy was magnanimous: “Haha … fair enough, too! The PR company puff piece angle was too hard to resist. I clearly hadn’t had enough coffee yesterday.
“Genuinely appreciate the effort to respond though, mate. Love your work.”
