Downtown Auckland indie Sugar&Partners has shot two new videos for the Hubbards Toppers breakfast cereal – to be screened on social media.

“The core creative idea behind Hubbards Toppers is ‘A little over the top excitement every morning’, the videos are just one execution of that,” said Sugar creative partner Dave Nash.

“Because Facebook & Youtube video were our primary media placements we wanted to create something that felt like natural fit – not another ad you instantly wanted to skip or scroll past.

“Facebook and Youtube are full of hilarious videos in this style, we just wanted to add to it – have a bit of fun and showcase a new product.”

Lion Dog was shot in the Auckland Domain before work so could give some early morning joggers and cafe goers something a little over the top,” Nash said. And Clive? “Clive is a good mate of ours who we knew would see the funny side of things!”

Nash says both videos have been viewed by “well over a million … so we’re off to a good start.”
