Colenso, Republik win at AMES

SINGAPORE – NZ agencies have won two Golds, a Silver, and four Bronzes at the 2016 Asian Marketing Effectiveness & Strategy (AMES) Awards, held last night at the Grand Hyatt Singapore.

Colenso grabbed the lion’s share, with both Golds and the Silver, plus two Bronzes. Auckland indie Republik scooped up the other two Bronzes.

A total of 125 medals went to 71 different campaigns from 13 countries.

India led in the medal count with 30 trophies, followed by China and Australia.

Interestingly, one of Colenso’s Golds came in a category that includes the dreaded tobacco!

  • Colenso BBDO DB Brewrolem (in Media Strategy: Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco)

SILVER

  • Colenso BBDO Pedigree Found (Effectiveness, Innovative Use of Media)

BRONZE

  • Republik Unitec NZ Teaches the Tertiary Sector a Lesson (in Digital Strategy: Financial Services, Public Services, Business Products & Services)
  • Colenso BBDO Pedigree Found (Digital Strategy/Mobile – including Apps)
  • Republik Unitec NZ Teaches the Tertiary Sector a Lesson (in Effectiveness: Financial Services, Public Services, Business Products & Services)
  • Colenso BBDO Anchor Must Be Milk (Effectiveness: Insights/Strategic Thinking)
