Wellington-based PR firm and new kid on the block, Draper Cormack Group, has signed their biggest client yet – New Zealand based, worldwide cricketing digital platform CricHQ.
CricHQ was founded in 2010 by ceo Simon Baker and a leading group of international cricketers including former NZ captions Brendon McCullum and Stephen Fleming.
Today, CricHQ is the world’s largest digital platform for cricket. The company has grown to be the online home for all levels of cricket around the world.
Draper Cormack Group is headed up by co-founders Lou Draper and David Cormack.
Draper says she’s excited to begin this new relationship with such a forward-facing company. “CricHQ are leading the charge for the digitalisation of cricket and we’re thrilled to be working with them to help make that a reality.
“Between my love of tech and David’s love of cricket we think this is a great match.
“Already we’re working on some really exciting projects with CricHQ that’s going to cement them as the leaders in a market that has so much potential for growth.”
CricHQ executive chairman, Wellingtonian Mike Loftus, said he was also looking forward to working with Draper Cormack Group.
“David and Lou completely get what we’re about,” he said. “They’ve already shown a keenness and love of what we do and get excited about the same things we do. It’s a perfect fit.”
