As part of a major brand refresh following its sharemarket debut, poultry brand Tegel has appointed Barnes, Catmur & Friends Dentsu as its full service agency.
Tegel produces around half of New Zealand’s poultry, and its last full brand overhaul was more than a decade ago. BC&F Dentsu will be relaunching the brand communications as well as digital assets such as Tegel’s website.
“We have been working closely with Tegel in a strategic role during the initial stages of the brand refresh, and our appointment has followed from that,” says Managing Partner Paul Catmur. “It’s great to be working with such a well-loved brand as it makes a step change to a listed public company.”
There is no incumbent agency. This appointment is a first for the brand.
Tegel listed on the NZX in early May this year at a value of $580 million.
