Woman’s Weekly and Woman’s Day both vie for the top spot among weekly magazines, in the latest Nielsen Newspaper and Magazine year-on-year comparatives readership figures for Q3 2015-Q2 2016.

Skywatch is the most-read monthly (Metro and North & South both performed respectably), and Cuisine and NZ Geographic lead the bi-monthlies.

It will surprise nobody to learn that the NZ Herald has easily won the honours for daily metro newspapers, followed by the Dominion Post and The Press (both with identical figures), the ODT and the Waikato Times.

The Herald on Sunday is the leading weekly paper, closely followed by the Sunday Star Times, then come Sunday News and NBR.

Among the liftouts, Timeout leads the field, closely followed by Weekend and Canvas.

Here are the details.
