Instagram has announced it now has more than 600 million monthly actives. The company says it added the last 100 million Instagrammers in just six months.
“Instagram has now doubled in size (300 million → 600 million) in two years,” says the Instagram release, sent to us by Facebook’s NZ PR manager, Gavin Ogden of Pursuit PR Auckland.
“Growth over the past six months was broad-based, with particular strength in certain Asian countries,” says the release. “Product enhancements like stories and personalised feed have also helped overall growth.”
