New Zealand’s Clemenger BBDO & Colenso BBDO stood out at Adfest Pattaya over the weekend, winning five Gold Lotuses (or their equivalents), two Silvers and a Bronze between them. No other NZ entries made it past the finals.

Colenso BBDO won two Golds and a Branded Content (Gold equivalent), and Clemenger BBDO took out a Gold (one of which was converted to a Special Award – the Lotus Grande for Humanity prize).

Clemenger’s Lotus Grande for Humanity came for NZTA Hello (and a Gold in Best Use of Film & Infommercials).

Work submitted in the Lotus Grande for Humanity category is not eligible to win a Grande Lotus in the main categories. Instead, Adfest created the Lotus Grande for Humanity to recognise creative excellence in this sector.

Colenso won Gold in Media for Amnesty Unblocker in Best Use of Digital; and another Gold for Anchor X-Ray Casts in Best Use of Direct Ambient: Small Scale.

Colenso also took out a Branded Content Award – equivalent to a Gold Lotus – for Pedigree’s A Dog’s Story.

Clemenger’s NZTA Hello also won a Bronze in Viral Film. And Clemenger won Silver for KiwiRail The Conscious Crossing in Product Design.

Dentsu Tokyo was crowned Adfest Agency of the Year.
