Google NZ country director Stephanie Davis is heading north to take on a new role as country director for Google Singapore.

Davis has been with Google for more than 10 years and started as NZ country director in early 2016. She will start her new role in August, and Google has already commenced the recruitment process for her replacement in Auckland.

“Since joining the NZ team last year, Stephanie has done a tremendous job leading our New Zealand operations and helped build a wonderful team,” said Sydney-based Google ANZ managing director Jason Pellegrino.

“It is bittersweet news that she will be leaving New Zealand, but I am delighted to see her take up a new substantial leadership role for Google, based out of Singapore.”

US-born David said: “I am really excited to take on this new opportunity in Singapore, but at the same time, I am sad to leave New Zealand and our team here. I have loved every minute in this beautiful and friendly country and it has been an honour to work with so many amazing people.”

There is no doubt our partners will be in great hands with our fantastic local team,” said Stephanie Davis.
