Alert reader Tough Pencil could only shake his/her head in astonishment at the wondrous food-preparation skills demonstrated by Shortland Street star Reuben Milner in a TVNZ promo image that ran with M+AD Daily’s story yesterday about Saatchi’s 2017 Election Commission campaign.
“The guy on the right – who we are asked to believe has just emerged from the ocean – is holding a cooked crayfish!”
A new take on sous vide?
‘Alive and cooking’
The M+AD website posting quickly brought this response from TVNZ Blacksand director Jamie Gallant, who reckons the crayfish were alive and kicking for the shoot.
He gave no assurances they avoided the sous vide later that evening, though!
