Fujitsu New Zealand has appointed Parnell-based The Business Marketing Group as their marketing agency. The incumbent was Raw Advertising.

Rob Leonard of Raw Advertising said: “We’ve been working with Fujitsu since 2000, and in that time are proud of the fact that they enjoy #1 in the extremely competitive heat pump market.

“However, the time to move into retirement has meant that I’ve reluctantly had to pass the baton on. After an extensive due diligence search, we are confident that we are in good shape to do that.”

Fujitsu NZ head of marketing Fiona Harris said: “We want to thank Raw for all the wonderful work that they’ve done over the years, not just in maintaining our leading brand awareness, but also in helping to grow the total market in New Zealand.

“BMG clients include Kraft Heinz Cerebos, Wattie’s, Dulux, Constellation, Jack Daniel’s, Jägermeister, Smales Farm, Wilson Foods.”

“We’re sorry to see them go, but are delighted to have found a strong, creative and results focused replacement in The Business. We look forward to working together in the transition to The Business and to continue the strong results we’ve been enjoying.”

The Business MD Ben Cochrane said: “It’s an honour to represent Fujitsu New Zealand. We are confident that we can form a strong partnership across strategy, digital, social and wider communications.

“They are also great people to work with, which is important!”

The appointment is effective as of 1 July.

The Business Marketing Group clients include Kraft Heinz Cerebos, Wattie’s, Dulux NZ, Constellation Brands, Jack Daniel’s, Jägermeister, Smales Farm and Wilson Foods.
