Yesterday we fired off a grumpy piece about an Arrivals & Departures notice that failed to supply the name of the person being replaced.
It was a release from Aussie PR firm Third Avenue advising that Carin Hercock had been appointed Managing Director of the New Zealand arm of Paris-based market research giant Ipsos.
“Sorry for the delayed response,” responded Third Ave’s Rochelle Burbury. “This is actually a newly created position to oversee the Wellington and Auckland offices – therefore no predecessor.”
