Leading Wellington-based digital experience company Heyday (Whittaker’s, Griffin’s, Mitsubishi, Garage Project and Z Energy) has appointed Jodi Willocks to the new position of general manager.

Heyday managing director Luke Pierson said the appointment into a key leadership position provided greater diversity, creativity and leadership capability for the agency.

“Jodi has a huge amount of integrity,” he said. “She is highly respected within creative circles across New Zealand and across the many clients she has worked with over the last decade or more, most recently as managing partner for Wellington’s Assignment Group.

“Most recently, Jodi was managing partner for Wellington creative agency Assignment Group.”

“Securing somebody of her capabilities is an incredibly important development for the continued evolution of our business and our ability to continue to deliver the very best service to our clients,” he said.

Jodi Willocks starts at Heyday at the end of July.

Mike Enoka promoted
Alongside her appointment, and “as part of the commitment to boosting the strategic focus and leadership capability of Heyday”, Mike Enoka has been promoted into the position of head of strategy.

He was previously Heyday’s director of content.

“Mike is one of Heyday’s most senior and experienced people who has worked closely with Jodi in the past on a number of mutual clients,” said Pierson. “Bringing Mike into a head of strategy role, working closely with Jodi, brings a very strong pairing to the leadership and strategy of the company.”
