Auckland-based publisher Snapdragon Media has engaged two new team members. Rebecca Knight has been appointed as sales manager. She joins Snapdragon from Bauer Media and will be managing the direct advertising for Kidspot as well as all advertising across lifestyle brand Her World.

Knight has over 15 years’ media experience and prior to Bauer held a mixture of both digital and print sales roles at Yellow, The New Zealand Herald (“as it was called then”) and Adrenalin Publishing.

Knight says the chance to join the Snapdragon team was not to be missed. “The opportunity to work with Kidspot, the number one parenting site in New Zealand was a no brainer. Equally exciting is the opportunity to drive growth for Herworld.co.nz in the female millennial market.

“A Kiwi site, with Kiwi lifestyle content for Kiwi women is exciting and resonates with me personally.”

“As a new mum myself I have found Kidspot to be an invaluable resource so it’s a natural fit to be representing such a trusted brand in the market.”

Also joining from Bauer Media is Kelly Spice who takes over as national agency director for Kidspot.

Having just returned from maternity leave, Spice brings a wealth of industry experience in agency sales from previous roles at TVNZ and more than a decade at Bauer Media.

Spice says she is thrilled to be stepping into the role of agency director. “I’m really excited to be joining a passionate team with the backing of a fantastic brand that has such great credibility amongst our audience.
