TBWA has launched a new campaign to showcase the benefits of ANZ’s KiwiSaver scheme. “This is storytelling at its best, using charm, empathy and humour to communicate how this hardworking scheme can help people get on top of their money,” says TBWA ECD Christy Peacock.

“Talking to all Kiwis, the campaign is brought to life by a loveable, wise dad played by iconic Kiwi actor Greg Johnson and his son, Ritchie Grzyb,” Peacock says. “While discussing the ways ANZ’s KiwiSaver scheme makes your money work harder, the duo banter about love, life, moving out of home and whose turn it is to mow the lawns.”

“The ANZ KiwiSaver campaign will be rolled out across TV, digital, social and in-branch.”

He said: “We were looking to build on the success of the ANZ everyday banking campaign. ANZ is here to help all New Zealanders make more of what they’ve got. That’s why they have a KiwiSaver Scheme that works hard for them.

“The challenge for us was how to make some endearing and engaging work about a topic not many people are really interested in talking about.”

ANZ head of consumer marketing Matthew Pickering said: “People need to take an active interest in their choice of KiwiSaver Scheme, not just see it as a stagnant savings account.

“Kiwis work hard for their money, so they need a KiwiSaver scheme that works just as hard for them.”

The ANZ KiwiSaver campaign will be rolled out across TV, digital, social and in-branch.
