Four personnel changes at the Interactive Advertising Bureau – Laura Maxwell has stepped down as chair of the IABNZ board, but will remain as a board member. Rhys Heron, who is currently a board membe,r will replace her as chair. Heron is currently the Managing Director of Mi9 NZ.
And – after four years as ceo of IABNZ – Adrian Pickstock is leaving to focus more on his growing business. Gill Stewart takes over the role of CEO IABNZ from early September.
Maxwell said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Adrian Pickstock for his tenure as ceo, as he has decided to focus fully on his own business [Quad Consulting].
“Adrian has raised the profile of the interactive advertising ecosystem in New Zealand and facilitated the development of the new revenue reporting that more accurately reflects apportionment of revenue.,” she said.
“I’d like to extend a warm welcome to incoming ceo Gill Stewart, who starts tomorrow.
“Gill brings with her a wealth of experience in senior roles, including ceo of the Marketing Association and GM of The Radio Bureau.
“We are excited about this next phase of the IAB and can’t wait for Gill to get her feet under the desk and for Rhys to lead the board.”
