Panasonic spin on royal visit

AUCKLAND, Wednesday: To celebrate Harry & Meghan’s New Zealand visit, Panasonic has launched a series of lighthearted digital billboards to follow the royals across the country.

The first went up in Wellington on Sunday 29, with rollouts designed to hit the other centres when the royals arrive in each location.

Panasonic brand & communication manager Simon Smith said: “we’ve come up with four tongue-in-cheek billboards to promote our Oled TVs, washing machines, and Lumix camera. The quality of our products are fit for a Queen … or a Duke and Duchess … so we thought we’d have a bit of fun while Harry and Meghan are here.”

The four billboards are running this week only.
