AUCKLAND, Tuesday: Research Association NZ has booked an imaginative Xmas party venue – one that’s bound to quicken up your synapses … the Stardome Observatory Planetarium in One Tree Hill Domain.
“Enjoy an extended Night Sky show that includes a glass of wine (or beer) and cheese platters,” says their invite.
“Learn about the planets, stars and constellations visible in the night sky on that evening. Special prize to anyone who spots Santa and his reindeer! There’ll be plenty of time to chat with colleagues and other members.”
It’s on Thursday 29 November from 6pm. Tickets cost just $20+gst ($49 for non-members). That gets you two comp drinks from the cash bar (non-alcoholic drinks available)
