AUCKLAND, Monday: This year’s Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards achieved Three’s highest rating music awards show ever, gathering 77,675 viewers in the 25-54 demographic – up on last year’s 70,304 viewers.
The awards hit a 20.1% share and 4.2 rating, winning its timeslot among 25-54s, and also performed strongly online, delivering year-on-year growth with on demand viewing up 10% on the night and a 13% increase in live streaming.
Three won the night on Wednesday with an overall audience share of 23.3% among 25-54s.
The past three weeks has seen Three hit an average share of 21.7% among 25-54s, a significant increase compared to the same period last year which recorded an average share of 19.6%.
