AUCKLAND, Today: To celebrate Special’s 10th year in business, the sharp indie shop wants want to buy everyone in the entire industry a beer. Yes everyone.
“We really want to raise a glass and say ‘thanks’ to everyone who has ever worked at Special, everyone who has ever helped bring to life any of our ambitious ideas, or has just shown support for a New Zealand start-up trying to leave a dent, or geez, even motivated us to be better by beating us,” reckons partner/ECD Tony Bradbourne.
“So we are inviting the industry to ours to enjoy a Special X brew.”
“We started ago with one desk, three chairs and no clients, and a decade later we are proudly the NZ Agency of the Year.”
Special partner/design ECD Heath Lowe says the free beer will flow at Special (34-38 Drake Street) from 5pm to 7pm in just one week – on Wednesday 28 November 28.
“We started 10 years ago with one desk, three chairs and no clients, and a decade later we are proudly the New Zealand Agency of the Year.
“We couldn’t have done that without the help of a lot of people, clients and actually other agencies. So the least we can do is buy everyone a beer, or two, or quite possibly 5436.”
