“Hancox will oversee all client relationships, Bell will become head of agency markets in Auckland, Wellington & Australia.”

Along with developing the agency commercial strategy for NZME, she will continue to develop the advertising digital product strategy.

Bell was previously head of digital – commercial, where her remit extended across NZME’s diverse media, NZME’s digital services team, iHeartRadio revenue, and NZME’s Vision commercial team.

Chief commercial officer Matt Headland says the changes are part of the ongoing evolution of the commercial team. “Paul is moving into a critical commercial role for NZME, which will be focussed on growing our direct client relationships and revenue across agency and direct,” he said.

“I’m also excited to broaden Charlotte’s role across all channels as she heads up the agency team, driving the overall agency revenue and strategy, while continuing to develop a market leading digital advertising suite of products.

“This alignment of the commercial team within the current media landscape allows NZME to continue to drive radio and print, while also providing stronger synergies with our digital audience.”
