AUCKLAND, Yesterday: Telecoms provider Chorus has appointed FCB Media to handle all media requirements – including communication strategy, planning and buying, SEM, SEO, data consultancy, activations and other project-based work.

FCB Media secured the business without a formal pitch. The incumbent was Starcom (Saatchi is the current creative agency).

Chorus head of marketing Karren Harker said: “FCB Media has a great track record of delivering market leading campaigns in New Zealand. This combined with their ability to access a wider suite of specialist services, through one central team, made the decision the right one for our business.”

“It’s early days in the partnership but we are already making significant progress. Our chemistry is very strong.”

“2019 is set to be an active year for Chorus, with a new brand campaign set to launch early this year.”

FCB Media managing director Blair Alexander said: “Chorus has a unique place in the market as an open access infrastructure company. They’re a passionate business that want to help make New Zealand better.

“There are some exciting projects planned for 2019 and the client is equally ambitious about how they go to market.

“It’s early days in the partnership but we are already making significant progress. Our chemistry is very strong.”
