Republik gets creative credit

AUCKLAND: Today: In the absence of adequate supplied information, M+AD Friday passed too much credit to Pead PR in our Marlborough King Salmon/Al Brown report.

“The team at Republik conceptualised the Al Brown campaign so understandably they should be given the credit,” said M+AD writer Scott Pryor.

Friday’s report (scroll down for the link) was about Regal and Brown cooking up the ultimate culinary trip. The original release, supplied by Pead PR, gave no credits.

Ed says …
M+AD ed David Gapes said: “We love these stories – but the PR people need to keep in mind our specialised audience. If you supply just the fancy publicity angles, M+AD is always inclined to take this as a PR agency credit.”
