SINGAPORE, Wednesday: The Spikes Asia Creative Awards has issued its 2019 call for entries – this year with new categories, and other spruce-up changes.

Asia Rising is the festival’s 2019 theme. The main new category is the Creative eCommerce Spike, which rewards excellence in creative commercial eCommerce payment solutions and innovation.

Other new categories are Challenges & Breakthroughs, Sports & eSports, and New Realities & Voice Activation.

The Tangrams (Effectiveness/Strategy) and Spikes Asia Awards are now aligned, and both will be judged at Spikes Asia. The entry timelines are now the same.

The Tangrams and Spikes winners will be unveiled at Suntec Singapore 25-27 (Wed-Fri) September.

Programme themes have been shaped to directly address the challenges faced by the creative industry in APAC. Sessions on the main stage will be translated live into Mandarin, Korean and Japanese.
