NEW YORK, Today: New Zealand has seven entries through to the shortlist at the New York Festivals Advertising Awards – Colenso BBDO has four, Y&R two, and DDB one.

Colenso scored with Get the Skinny (Best Use of Social Media & Influencer category, Spark Kupu (in Best Use of Digital/Mobile – plus two for Mars SelfieSTIX (Products & Service and Mobile).

Y&R’s two finalists are both for TradeMe RIP Simon the Sloth (in Brave Work and Activation & Engagement).

DDB’s came for Speights The Dance in Food/Film.

The finalists were chosen from entries submitted from 62 countries. The Aussies did particularly well, with 60 through. Impressive!

The New York Festival Advertising Awards 2019 competition winners will be announced the week of May 13.
