AUCKLAND, Today: The Comms Council has issued a reminder for industry members to complete a diversification and inclusive survey – issued in 2017.

A Comms Council spokesperson said: “As the industry body for advertising and communications agencies in New Zealand, the Comms Council strongly believe that diverse and inclusive workplaces are critical to the long-term health of our industry.

“In 2017, we sent out an industry-wide diversity survey to understand just how diverse and inclusive our industry really is. As both the diversity landscape and our industry are ever-changing, we think it’s time to check in and see what progress we’ve made as an industry through this follow-up survey.

“We think it’s time to check in and see what progress we’ve made as an industry.”

“We’d really appreciate and value your participation in answering as many questions as you feel comfortable. Your input is crucial to help us identify how far we’ve come and where we need to focus next.

“The survey is totally confidential and is structured in such a way that no individual can be identified. All individual data will remain anonymous and will not be used for any purpose other than this specific survey, nor will it be shared with your employer.”

The questionnaire has been designed in consultation with Diversity Works NZ (formerly the Equal Employment Opportunities Trust) and to allow comparability with NZ Census data.
