The Spikes taps five Kiwis

SINGAPORE, Thursday: Damon Stapleton, Kim Ragan and Zia Mandviwalla have been named to represent New Zealand on Spikes Asia juries next month. The Spikes have already named former FCB NZ media director Anna Chitty (now ceo at PHD China) as president of the 2019 Media jury.

Colenso BBDO CCO Levi Slavin is a speaker.

Colenso CD Ragan will sit on the Brand Experience & Activation and Creative eCommerce juries, DDB ANZ region CCO Damon Stapleton is on the Direct Jury, and Finch director Zia Mandviwalla sits on the Entertainment and Music Jury.


“The juries will comprise 49% female leaders, across 22 categories, including the new Creative eCommerce Spike.”

This year, 97 jury members from 17 countries will convene in Suntec, Singapore for the three-day festival, which runs from Wednesday 25 to Friday September.

Festival director Joe Pullos said: “The Spikes Asia Awards set the future focus of the industry, and ensure that the creative benchmark for Asia Pacific is set, representing a breadth of countries, disciplines and backgrounds, including close-to an equal gender split.”

The Awards entry deadline is Friday 16 August.
