Backlit bollards hit the Tron

AUCKLAND, Today: Phantom Billstickers has brought its freestanding poster bollards (aka Morris Columns) to Hamilton. “Poster bollards have been adorning the streets of Paris for over 150 years,” says Phantom marketing manager Ben Stonyer.

“A few years back, Phantom decided to introduce this item of urban furniture to the Aotearoa. So we came up with our own bespoke design and introduced poster bollards to Christchurch and Wellington.

“Now it’s the turn of Hamilton. Come to Garden Place and see the light.

“They’re impossible to miss, especially after dark.”

“Hamilton’s new bollards differ from our Christchurch and Wellington installations in one critical aspect – they’re backlit.

“So as well as promoting your message during the daylight hours, they shine throughout the night. When media buyers are paying for 24/7 occupation of the site, it makes sense to make it visible after sundown.

“Next time you’re passing through the Waikato – or if you’re lucky enough to live there – pop into the centre of the city and check out our poster bollards in Garden Place. They’re impossible to miss, especially after dark.”
