AUCKLAND, Today: Let’s get this straight – Saatchi Sydney ECD Rebecca Carrasco is NOT a Kiwi (as M+AD, somewhat over-enthusiastically, claimed yesterday).
Two who worked with her at Saatchi NZ, Mike O’Sullivan (now at Many Minds NZ) and Conan Gorbey (now at True Auckland) gave us the dinkum oil.
“She’s an Aussie, I think,” said Mike O. “But she has worked in NZ. A lot.”
M+AD ed David Gapes was suitably chastened by his …er, misalignment. “This is not the first time we’ve claimed her as a Kiwi,” he said.
“But it will be the last.”
