AME Awards taps Kiwi for jury duty

NEW YORK, Today: VMLY&R Auckland head of social media strategy Bhavika Rambhai has been appointed to the 2020 Asia Pacific Grand Jury at the New York Festivals’ AME Awards, which celebrate “the World’s Best” Advertising & Marketing Effectiveness programmes.

The AME’s jury of prominent international advertising and brand executives emanate from five regions around the globe and feature 100+ jurors to date representing 36 countries on six continents.

Awards director Gayle Mandel said: “Asia Pacific is such a vibrant creative region and with 26+% of winning entries coming from APAC in 2019’s AME competition, it is crucial to provide entrants with an esteemed jury of exceptional calibre with both regional and global perspective.”

Joining Rambhai  on the Asia Pacific grand jury are three jurors from Australia, five from China, three from Japan, two from India, plus jurors from the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.

“AME’s Asia Pacific Grand Jury of recognized thought-leaders reflects the diverse range of talent prevalent in today’s advertising and marketing space,” Mandel said. “I’m thrilled these prominent executives are sharing both their time and industry expertise.”

The deadline to enter the 2020 AME Awards competition is Sunday 15 December 15.
