AUCKLAND, Tuesday: The Comms Council has appointed independent strategic consultant Simon Lendrum as the convenor for the 2020 Beacon Awards (held in association with oOh!media).
Lendrum was originally a Brit, who has enjoyed a 25-year career in agencies, including DDB London, Ogilvy NZ (where he was GM from 2004 to 2009) and J Walter Thompson NZ (MD from 2010 to 2019).
He’s a former president of CAANZ/Comms Council (from 2014 to 2016).
