AUCKLAND, Friday: MetService (or – as they like to call themselves: “The Mighty Metservice”) has made two key new appointments. MetService is a lot more than just a weather forecast – it’s a major vehicle for ad messages, and is the 7th largest NZ website and the 3rd largest mobile site.

Kathryn Blackmore has joined as interactive key account manager replacing Nikki Lambert in the Auckland agency team.

Blackmore has worked across a variety of media including magazines, outdoor and unaddressed mail and has 16+ years media experience in account service roles.

In Operations, Tianze Yu has also joined MetService from Big Mobile and will be an integral part of the MetService sales team,

“Send money now!”

Yu won the Junior Ad Ops Person of the Year in addition to the Grand Prix at the 2019 IAB Awards and MetService says he brings a wealth of digital knowledge to the team.

Blackmore said: “This is an exciting time to be coming on board at the MetService. The launch of the new website in November has already resulted in increased viewability. The MetService team will be out in market early with further information around the exciting opportunities it offers.”

MetService interactive key account manager Mel Graham said: “After a year and a half of working around three lots of maternity leave in our team it is fantastic to once again be at full strength, and to have two new appointments of such high calibre, along with a record 2m monthly UBs across our new site.

“December bodes for the mighty MetService. You know the drill – send money, now! Operators are standing by, waiting to take your calls.”
