AUCKLAND, Today: Finally, decent coverage of Mark Ritson’s presentation in Auckland last week – thanks to a blog written by Hunch agency’s Michael Goldthorpe.
“I was there,” he told M+AD. “I’m not sure the piece if wrote is much less self serving than the TVNZ piece, or particularly longer than the Comms Council story.
“This is a reasonably tight summary (at an event peppered with the word fuck).”
“But it’s a reasonably tight summary that reflects the event by being peppered with the word fuck.
“It was a good gig. Essentially Ritson telling everyone the blindingly obvious! It’s not rocket science, it’s just advertising, right?”
Goldthorpe is being overly modest – his thoughtful piece is neither short nor self-serving.
