AUCKLAND, Thursday: Finch NZ has promoted Jimena Murray and Rebekah ‘Bex’ Kelly to executive-producer roles based at the company’s office in Grey Lynn.
The pair will be responsible for running the office and the promotion & marketing of the company’s advertising, post and entertainment divisions.
The EP team will be supported by Melbourne-based Finch MD Corey Esse. Finch has offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.
Kelly has been with Finch NZ for three years, and prior to that enjoyed a 25-year career working in various film, documentary and advertising formats at multiple production companies.
“They will run the office, and the promotion & marketing of the advertising, post and entertainment divisions.”
Kelly said: “Finch is such a great place to be – exciting, challenging, with plenty of heart, and storytelling always front and centre of everything we do.
“I’m delighted to be working with Jimmy to represent our directors and collaborate with our agency partners to deliver great filmmaking.”
Murray, who recently returned from producing upcoming episodes for the Emmy-nominated Netflix Originals series Chef’s Table, has been with the company for six years, will continue to produce in both the advertising and long-form space while she continues to grow her credits in the film industry.
Murray said: I’ve loved the last six years at Finch and am really looking forward to working with Bex to grow the company offering, exploring new opportunities and further developing our talent in New Zealand and abroad.”
