Isobar taps Becker

AUCKLAND, Today: Dentsu Aegis Network NZ has appointed Gavin Becker as managing director of its digital experience agency, Isobar. He replaces Ian Howard, who left the company in March – for parts unknown.

Becker will be responsible for “continuing the commercial growth” of Isobar across New Zealand, including showcasing the agency’s capability to creatively solve complex business problems.

With over 20 years’ experience spanning startups, creative agencies and innovation consultancies, Becker has deep knowledge of emerging technologies, human-centred product innovation and experience design.

He joins Isobar from North, an innovation accelerant he founded that helps businesses identify, build and nurture customer-centred products, experiences and ventures.

Prior to this, his career spanned New Zealand and the United States, including senior leadership roles with Colenso BBDO, Made by Many, AKQA and Twitter.

Becker will report to ceo Robert Harvey, and will also sit on the DAN NZ leadership team.
