AUCKLAND, Today: Sky has made a startling offer of $1 million worth of TV advertising airtime to charities and community organisations aligned with Covid-19 support efforts in New Zealand.

Sky ceo Martin Stewart said: “It’s been heartening to see Kiwis creating special initiatives to help New Zealand through the pandemic.

“Sky has already donated airtime in support of KidsCan NZ’s Give $19 for Covid-19 campaign.

“KidsCan has smashed its $500,000 fundraising target which is funding over 3000 emergency food parcels sent to our most vulnerable, isolated families as well as helping replace revenue from the cancellation of many fundraising events.

“We will choose up to five initiatives to support at a time, with each ad campaign lasting two-weeks.”

“It’s a privilege to support KidsCan and we’re looking forward to partnering with a range of other New Zealand organisations that are helping support New Zealand through Covid-19.

“Whether you’re after awareness, funds or you just want to share your story with the rest of New Zealand, please apply and let us help you.

“Apply online and a dedicated team at Sky will choose up to five initiatives to support at a time, with each ad campaign lasting two-weeks. Up to 10 initiatives will be supported in total.”
