Er – we erred!

AUCKLAND, Today: WPP AUNZ’s Sydney-based PR division has requested that M+AD amends its provocative earlier story (‘Australia’s 7th State’), giving more emphasis to its Wunderman Thompson NZ leadership under its “campus structure”.

WPP AUNZ’s new NZ management team (which has oversight of Wunderman NZ) reports to Sydney-based ceo Jens Monsees – reporting to him are: GroupM NZ ceo Chris Riley, Designworks NZ ceo Kelly-Ann Maxwell, and Damian Ferigo (NZ).

Luke Pierson is the Auckland-based ceo of Wunderman Thompson NZ.

M+AD pleads guilty to stuffing up an earlier story about WPP’s convoluted AUNZ management structure, which we felt conjured up visions that the company regarded NZ as Australia’s 7th state.
