AUCKLAND, Last Night: OMD took out Best in Show at the nation’s No 1 media awards contest, the 2020 Beacons, for NZ Transport Agency The Unsaid.
TVNZ was named Media Business of the Year, and sponsors oOH!Media was Sales Team of the Year.
The Golds went to OMD, PHD, MBM, Dentsu, Zenith, OMD/Fuse, OMD, Ikon, and OMG.
“It was a long day for the Comms Council team, who at press time were still posting details on their website.”
It was a big day for Natasha Galloway and her Comms Council team did the hard yards to make the first major NZ awards show to be screened virtually and free go off – apparently – without a hitch.
We say “apparently” because while Galloway got the results PDF out early today, they’re still working on a press release – and content for the Comms Council website (which at M+AD’s deadline had yet to be updated).
