TAKAPUNA, Wednesday: Health TV has extended its nationwide network of TVs – widely seen in GP medical clinics & hospitals – to the medical clinics in Defence Force bases in the NZ Army, RNZN, and the RNZAF.

To date screens have been installed in Trentham and Burnham army bases. Currently in development are screens at the Devonport naval base and the Whenuapai air force base.

“For advertisers, this is a very hard-to-get-to audience, so we anticipate some unique opportunities there.”

Health TV media manager Trish Turney said: “It’s a great testament that we should be asked to broadcast to the defence personnel at these military bases with health and lifestyle information.
