AUCKLAND, Thursday: Stanley St has appointed Renée Smith as group media director. Smith is an award-winning media and marketing professional, with 15 years’ experience in media agencies, media-owner roles and clientside head-of-media roles.

Before joining Stanley St, she worked for Optus Telecommunications and Samsung Australia, and returns to New Zealand after a 12-year overseas stint.

In Australia, she collected a B&T 30 Under 30 award in 2013 and had campaigns shortlisted at the Festival of Media Asia, AdNews Campaign of the Year and Media Federation Awards.

She’s a B&T Awards winner for Best Use of Sponsorship, and placed in Marketing Magazine Australia’s Top 10 experiential campaigns globally.
