AUCKLAND, Today: Westhaven full-service indie Chemistry has scored two new pieces of business – LeaderBrand (from the primary sector), and global commercial real estate firm CBRE.

Both account wins came after pitches.

LeaderBrand marketing manager Justin Alblas pointed out: “We are working with Chemistry specifically on this internal project so all day-to-day work outside this project remains with Blackfoot.”

We asked CBRE last night for more details about their incumbents but they have yet to respond.

LeaderBrand is a diverse horticultural businesses, with farms located in Gisborne, Canterbury, Matamata and Pukekohe.

“Both brands are fantastically successful in their respective categories.”

Feeding Kiwi families since 1975, LeaderBrand employs 350 permanent staff, with a significant boost to numbers from seasonal staff joining for the summer harvest period.

Chemistry will be helping LeaderBrand create the business’s internal brand, aiming to excite staff across the country with their values and purpose.

LeaderBrand marketing manager Justin Alblas said, “We chose Chemistry for their creative approach to bringing our brand to life, along with a curiosity to understand our business and drive to do great work.”

Five-year plan
CBRE has chosen Chemistry to help drive awareness of a “game-changing” leasing project, which is expected to be completed in the next five years.

Marketing & pitch director Dan Scott said: “We needed a partner that could look beyond the normal category marketing practice and bring real insight and horsepower to the social space for us.”

Chemistry founding director Mike Larmer said: “We’re delighted to welcome LeaderBrand and CBRE to the Chemistry family of clients. Both brands are fantastically successful in their respective categories and we can’t wait to help them both achieve even greater success.”
