HONG KONG, Today: Omnicom NZ MD content Gina McKinnon was the only New Zealander to pick up an gong at Campaign Asia’s Women Leading Change Award yesterday. She was named the Vision Leader category for Asia Pacific.
The judges said: “Gina created a strategic opportunity to use her learnings from growing New Zealand’s biggest social media agency and leveraged this across the Group to champion the content offering.
“If that isn’t enough to take on, she started a new standalone social media agency, all during Covid, in an unsettled economy where both clients and staff are looking for answers in this new pandemic/endemic world.
“Gina knew that the key to successful agencies is having great people who are passionate about what they do and supporting them all the way.
“Gina believes in empathetic, collaborative leadership and that all leaders are only as good as their people.”
