AUCKLAND, Today: Contagion ceo/founder Dean Taylor has announced a senior hire to bolster their 360 marketing agency proposition.
“It’s massively important to our clients that all Contagion people look at the big picture, and for media specialists this means being passionate about collaborating and also concepting with our creative teams; it just means better results,” he said.
Kali Pentecost joins the Contagion team from D3, where she headed up a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from e-commerce and banking to education.
She said: “I was fortunate early in my career to be a part of one of the first mobile video tech solution companies, and world’s first video SSP, Vdopia (now branded Chocolate Platform) in Sydney.
“There I began my love for digital media and formulating media strategies that leverage digital best practice.
“We’ve had some great new business wins recently, with Kernel Wealth and NZ On Air requiring smart digital, data & technology strategy –Kali’s addition ensures first-class delivery of our product.”
“Fast forward seven years, where digital technologies have matured, competition for customers’ attention is at an all-time high, and privacy has evolved for the better.
“Cutting through and provoking action from consumers has never been harder. It requires an integrated approach, taking the best from what we’ve learnt and leveraging all key aspects of what makes a successful campaign, including creative, media and website optimisation.
“Having these all under one roof at Contagion was a huge drawcard for me, and the dog-friendly office environment was the icing on the cake.”
Contagion Media GM Rebecca Lloyd said: “Culture is key for the success of an integrated agency, and Kali is a great fit with the qualities that we need – she’s open, honest & always keen to share her informed opinion.
