AUCKLAND, Today: Triton Digital, a global technology and services leader to the digital audio and podcast industry, has released the latest New Zealand Podcast Ranker – the top three podcasts were The Mike Hosking Breakfast (NZME/iHeartRadio/ARN), Fletch, Vaughan & Hayley on ZM (NZME/iHeartRadio/ARN), and Stuff You Should Know (NZME/iHeartRadio/ARN).
The Ranker provides insight as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service, ranked by monthly listeners, in accordance with the latest IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.

New podcasts that debuted on the ranker this month included The School of Greatness (Stitcher Media), KICPOD (LiSTNR (SCA)), Shortland Street – The Podcast (NZME/iHeartRadio/ARN), TRIGGERnometry (Audioboom), and more.
Nova Entertainment joined as a new network for the August reporting period. Additional participating networks include Audioboom, Headgum, Kast Media, LiSTNR (SCA), NZME/iHeartRadio/ARN, rova (MediaWorks), Sports Entertainment Network (SEN), Stitcher Media, and Studio71.
Total downloads for the August reporting period were 8.7 million.
Both Hosking and Fletch & Co feature regularly in the top three.
