AUCKLAND, Thursday: PHD Aotearoa has appointed Sahri Thomson to its growing team of strategists. Preeviously, she was at Stanley St (on the Tourism NZ account).
Thomson joins the agency as digital strategist, a role which will see her straddling both media strategy and planning disciplines to translate client’s business and marketing challenges into strategically based media and performance plans.
“Simply using data in marketing is relatively easy but to gain a competitive advantage from data you need to combine creative thinking with deep technical expertise and Sahri brings these capabilities to PHD in spades,” says general manager planning, James Davidson.
“This role is largely in response to an increasing demand for strategy expertise around the table, and more to the point expertise that can drive best in class integration across strategy, digital, technology and client service teams,” he said.
“I’ve always enjoyed being in agency conduit roles blending strategy, planning and new technology,”
“Combined with her skills and reputation for building strong relationships, we know Sahri will hit the ground running with PHD’s clients.”
Thomson has both local and international industry experience spanning banking, finance, pharmaceutical and tourism.
“I’ve always enjoyed being in agency conduit roles blending strategy, planning and new technology,” says Thomson.
“I’m also really excited to join PHD and be a part of such a strong strategy and planning team and it’s amazing to see the breadth of tools and the fantastic specialist expertise they have in the agency.”
