Colenso scores Gold Pencil in NYC

NEW YORK, Today: Colenso BBDO with PHD Media Auckland and Drum Agency Auckland will be named winners of a prized a Gold Pencil at tonight’s The One Show 50th anniversary awards ceremony at Hammerstein Ballroom during Creative Week in New York.

They pulled it off with Phone It In for Skinny in Direct Marketing, Craft – Writing.

In total, NZ agencies scored 1 Gold, 2 Silver, 3 Bronze, and 7 Merit.

The Colenso/PHD/Drum Skinny effort also produced two Silvers in Out of Home and Radio & Audio, with a third Silver – with IAG Auckland, PHD Media and Drum for State Tally My Post in Social Media Innovation.

Special Auckland with South Pacific Pictures and Images & Sound Last Performance for Partners Life in Health & Wellness.

Australia picked up 4 Golds, 8 Silvers, 9 Bronzes, and 30 Merit.

Globally, FCB New York won the most One Show Gold Pencils with 11.

A total of 20,166 pieces from 69 countries and regions were entered in The One Show 2023. Agencies, studios, brands, production companies and designers in 54 countries and regions were awarded 210 Gold Pencils, 200 Silver, 238 Bronze, and 1172 Merits.
