Comms Council names Josh Moore as the convenor for Axis 2024

AUCKLAND, Monday: The Comms Council has appointed industry veteran Josh Moore as the convenor for the 2024 Axis Awards.

Moore currently serves as the chief creative officer and co-founder of Pitchblack Partners, an independent NZ-owned agency that collaborates with clients such as Burger King, Vocus, Sanitarium, Griffins, VTNZ, Air New Zealand, and TAB.

Prior to his role at Pitchblack Partners, he held the position of regional chief creative officer for Y&R NZ, overseeing operations in both New Zealand and Australia, and also served as the ceo of Y&R NZ.


“He has achieved 7 x Yellow Pencils and 2 x Grand Prix at Cannes.”

He has been recognised with numerous accolades throughout his career, including 7 Yellow Pencils, and 2 Grand Prix at Cannes, 1 Titanium award, the Cannes Black Lion for Effectiveness, the North American Grand Effie for Effectiveness, and multiple Gold awards at Cannes, Axis, The One Show, Clio, LIA, NYF, and Spikes.
